I want to love this because my daughter loves it, but we just received this yesterday and it ripped within minutes of us playing. First the top and since the poles keep the tent up with tension, it’s basically sagging. There are multiple places were the seams are coming apart inside as well. It’s just a weakly made tent unfortunately.
My parents were so excited to give this tent to my daughter for her fourth birthday two days ago. She and my 2 year old had fun with it for about an hour. They played with it for another hour this evening while I wasn't watching and now the poles are shattered and there's a hole in the top. Usually our toys aren't so easily destroyed.
I'm not one to write reviews often, especially negative ones. But both our first and replacement tents quickly formed holes from the poles after gentle use. My daughter just turned 3 and only sits in it with her dolls...INDOORS on hardwood floors. The poles are set inside the pockets for them and tied to the tent with the strings on the inside.Luckily she can still use the tent for a little while longer, or at least until the bottom fabric can no longer support the poles.:(
There are 4 telescoping poles that must be assembled before each use once you have folded up the castle (tent) into the "convenient" carrying bag. I would gladly have spent more for a tent that did actually pop up as advertised. The poles are not optional. It WILL NOT stand up without the poles. While it's fine quality for a cheap tent, it is not what I expected based off of the description. The quality is fine. It's cute. My child loves it. I however do not love the fact that I will have to put it away and reassemble it as needed. The stars also did not glow in the dark and the seams are already bursting. I didn't expect much for the low price, but I really wanted the convenience of a pop up over the low price.
Just received the tent today (not ordered on this account), it hasn’t been played in, just set up and I noticed that some of the stars and hearts are chipped. The hearts are pretty minor and definitely not as severe as the stars but still not in the best condition which is kind of a bummer. Other than that setting it up was nice and easy and it’s a good size
My daughter received this as a gift. Within a month it's fallen apart at the seams, first it was the stitching on the ties to keep the poles together, next it was the stitching keeping the fabric to the frame. Very cheaply made and a disappointment.
This playtent is really cute. Easy to set-up, easy to carry.. We keep changing it to different rooms. Our daughter loves it. Sometimes we place it over her bed as well, when she wants to take a nap in her castle. Worth the purchase.
