I just moved into a new place and it's clear the previous tenants didn't clean the washer. I never knew a washer could smell so badly. I used a mixture of baking soda and vinegar to clean. That didn't work. Used sooo much bleach and ran multiple cycles and cleaned out the washer. The smell got better. These arrived today. Ran 3 consecutive cycles as recommended and the smell is pretty much gone! That's a major win. I'm excited to try out the rest of your products!
I do NOT use it once a month per the instructions, I use it TWICE a month - and I still sometimes get washer-drum brown gunk all over my clothes after washing them. Last week it was on my white sheets - ugghhh. I guess I can't tell if it happens with my dark clothes?? A very disappointing product. Maybe the brown gunk would happen even more frequently if I didn't use Afresh??? Still disappointing either way.
Whilst living the bachelor lifestyle, thou didst the most bachelor thing and left wet clothing in the dryer for a fortnight. The stench was tremendous! All thy clothes reeked of the foul demon that now inhabited thy washer. Affresh conquered said demon with nary a twitch of its muscles. I shall promote this product throughout all the lands as one I will trust with thy most valuable garments!
This stuff works! I run it through my "Affresh" setting on my washer once a month and it really helps keep the musty smell away. I also keep the lid to my washer OPEN (as directed by the manual) and the combo helps keep things smelling nice and fresh. If you use this stuff and your washer still has a funk, might want to check your manual about what they want you to do with the lid and that might help the issue too!Would recommend!
